September is Gynecologic Cancer Awareness Month!

My dear friends,

I have some fabulous news!  Grandparents.com, one of the largest sites for today's new generation of active, involved grandparents, 50+, has adopted Cancer Schmancer as their national charity!  Together, we will continue to spread the important message of prevention and early detection so we can live long and healthy lives for ourselves and our families. Make sure you check out their site!

And that’s not all, darlin’!  September is Gynecologic Cancer Awareness Month and to pump up empowerment, every Wednesday this month we’ll be e-mailing you what you need to know about protecting yourself from the most common women’s cancers.  (So make sure you are signed up for our free newsletter and check your inboxes then!) Share them with all your girlfriends, moms, aunts and everyone you love so we can make late-stage diagnosis of cancer a thing of the past!

Today's tip:  Take 10 minutes to take the Gynecologic Cancer Foundation’s confidential, interactive Cancer Risk Assessment Survey that was developed by gynecologic cancer experts so you can understand your risk, based on your personal health.  And don’t forget doll, speak with your doctor to find out the best ways YOU can take care of your health.
