Exercise Daily To Enjoy Sound Sleep
While there is no doubt that Canada's adult obesity rates have been soaring of late, it has been found in a new research that those who attempt physical exercise on regular basis are most likely to get sound sleep.
It has been said that the relation between the two is extremely strong that a walk for 10 minutes could change a lot in one's sleeping cycle. The study involving 1,000 adults, ages 23 to 60, divided the participants into different groups namely exercisers, or non-exercisers after considering their activity levels.
It was stated that those who were very much involved in light, moderate or vigorous exercise had experienced sound sleep at a rate of between 56 and 67%, while those who weren't involved that much showed 39% sleeping rate. There is dire need that people understand the value of daily exercise so that they can enjoy its overall benefits resulting in a quality life.
"People neglect to think of sleep as one of the fundamental building blocks of life. But without it, the good things lose their goodness and the bad things just get terribly worse", said Max Hirshkowitz, an associate professor at Baylor College of Medicine and a sleep researcher backed by an experience of over three decades in the field.
