McLaurine Pinover is Deputy Communications Director for the U.S. House Foreign Affairs Committee. She lives in the D.C. suburb of Kensington, Maryland with her husband, Robert and one-year-old son, Bobby. She has enjoyed working in D.C. as a government communicator for nearly eight years now and also enjoys tennis and yoga. She was diagnosed with breast cancer last year and after a long year of treatment, is now in remission and very thankful to be able to use her story to help others struggling with cancer.
