Countdown to Trash Cancer!!!!!

This summer has been a very exciting time for raising awareness about the role chemicals play in our daily lives....about what we put in, on and around ourselves.

It seems like everywhere I look these days a conversation is taking place regarding chemicals and their potential effects on our health. This summer Johnson and Johnson has said they are going to stop using formaldehyde in their baby products.  Nicholas Kristof of the New York Times wrote a wonderful article about chemicals and their possible effects on our bodies.   Fran Drescher put together an amazing DVD for Trash Cancer that includes  many important tips to leading a chemical-free life.

These are just a few examples of the conversation that has hit the public arena.  It is my firm belief that Fran’s DVD, with all of its many important tips to living a healthier lifestyle, is going to move the conversation into action!

Trash Cancer is taking place September 29th, 2012 in 1,000 homes across America.  Parties will be taking place in all these homes and 10,000 men and woman will be helping to spread the word.   All aspects of healthy living are looked at in this DVD:   personal care products, home cleaning products, nutrition and exercise.  As a breast cancer survivor, activist and expert in healthy home cleaning, it was an honor to be part of this project.  I can’t wait to share all my recipes with you that I use to clean my home everyday in a safe and effective way.  Check back next week for new recipes!!
